- “Powertalk” – Communicate with passion, Communicate with power
- Some people have it. The power to win over the most skeptical critic. They stand up to make a presentation – no slide show, just a few words scribbled on a flip chart. Yet by the time they’re finished, the room is enthusiastically behind them. All of us have known – and envied – people like this. What’s their secret? They know how to use the power of emotions – their own and their listeners’ – to win enthusiastic support. It’s a skill you can learn.
- PowerTalk trains you to clarify your thinking, speak with passionate conviction, and persuade your listeners – even under pressure, when time is short, and your listeners are skeptical.
- Two fully experiential days, with video feedback, speaking fourteen times targeting an actual presentation. Up to ten participants.
- “Trainertalk” – Transforming Training
- Trainers are asking for real outside-the-box thinking, what exists isn’t working! PowerPoint has become the Emperor’s New Clothes. Adult learning theory has led to mass refusal to do more role-plays and discussions with minimal participation. You, the trainer, feel frustrated and unappreciated!

- “Customertalk” - Speak the Language of Service
- CustomerTalk trains your customer service professionals and technical support teams in the communication strategies that win customer enthusiasm. Why settle for just neutralizing customer anger when you can create customer dedication by the way you address their problems? We teach you how to do exactly that.
- Participants learn to let customers know that their feelings are understood as the two of them work together to identify alternative solutions. This approach can turn a potential confrontation into an alliance and an alienated customer into an enthusiastic booster.
- CustomerTalk was originally developed for technical customer service representatives, but the underlying principles have a broad application to retail sales, the hospitality industry, and any business where fielding complaints from unhappy customers, in person or on the phone, is a fact of everyday life. CustomerTalk can be custom designed to meet your organizational needs. CustomerTalk delivers a lot more than just talk.

- “Successtalk” – Break through the communication breakdown
- SuccessTalk is for managers, supervisors, support staff and administrators. SuccessTalk delivers powerful communication skills for cutting through the toughest communication obstructions. From the board room to team rooms, communication drives corporate performance. Teaming, whether formal or informal, means communication among equals that can’t be based on a my-way-or-the-highway model. But when people lack well-developed communication skills, everything breaks down. Projects limp along as a forum for ego contests, petty squabbles, resentment, and other manifestations of passive-aggressive behavior.

- MeetingTalk leverages the frustration people feel about the time wasted in a typical office meeting and channels it into a radical rethinking of the entire meeting process. Graduates leave committed to producing shorter meetings, fewer meetings and only meetings that get the job done.
- One-day workshops including group and individual contribution throughout for up to twelve participants.
- “Leadertalk” – Turning Vision into Action
- Can those in your organization spot your leaders? Are they viewed as approachable and trustworthy? Are they seen as lackluster, appearing too reserved or unengaged? When under pressure do they hesitate and fumble for words, losing credibility?
- We are facing gaping holes all over corporate leadership – a looming leadership deficit – with the onset of Boomers’ retirement. Most companies are launching programs to identify and develop high-potential employees. In response to clients’ requests, Bergerac has developed LeaderTalk to augment in-house leadership development programs. It is based on the unique Bergerac difference – a combination of theater techniques, the psychology of persuasion, and the latest brain research in how others listen, absorb and respond to the spoken word.
